yeah they just pop out once the engine is out of the way, don't they :P good luck. just remember the rebuilding will never stop until you buy a new engine... even if theres nothing wrong you'll find a reason to split that thing open again. what's nice is after taking the engine in and out 20 times it gets really easy and none of the bolts are impossible to get out anymore. make sure you carefully inspect the crank and bearings. the starter is always a bitch because there isn't a single damn wrench that will fit that bottom nut... i just hold the wire and turn the top nut... holding the wire usually keeps the bottom nut (and the freely rotating stud which is loosely connected to the coil which means if the stud rotates too much it kills the starter connection)Posted January 18th, 2013 at 08:40 AM by alex.s
