fluid on left side of the engine.

Noticed some fluid on the left side of the engine today, on the left engine cover and close to the base of the cylinder. More precisely - around and above the circular cover that can be seen just inside the fairing.
Don't know where it comes from, but some time ago I had leakages in both fork seals (later cured using Sealmate https://sealmate.net/ ). Wonder if oil could have flown from the fork. The bike is a 2011 fuel injected version.
Any ideas?
