It might be possible to do it without removing the side fairing.

So it sounds like I can remove the front fairing without removing the sides. I'll try to play around with it this weekend if I have time and let everyone know. These seemed like a cheaper option that some other extenders out there. Also, they seem like they'll work well since they'll be at the base of the bracket. I know I could probably do this myself if I had the right tools, but I don't and it's not worth my time. I saw a couple of DIY for mirror extenders and they worked well, but frankly looked awful, lol. These extenders were in my budget and I believe will do the trick.
