@ the original topic....I have the bike apart right now (winter - ice everywhere) and I really don't see how you can access the mirror base brackets without removing the front fairing..
It might be possible to do it without removing the side fairing.
PS. Please provide a review and tell me if they are worth it. Very seriously considering those !

So it sounds like I can remove the front fairing without removing the sides. I'll try to play around with it this weekend if I have time and let everyone know. These seemed like a cheaper option that some other extenders out there. Also, they seem like they'll work well since they'll be at the base of the bracket. I know I could probably do this myself if I had the right tools, but I don't and it's not worth my time. I saw a couple of DIY for mirror extenders and they worked well, but frankly looked awful, lol. These extenders were in my budget and I believe will do the trick.
