I have 501`s with 6.5K on them. I expect o get 10K out of them. I don`t ride particularly hard--mostly highway stuff at 55 to 70. Little hard braking and little hard acceleration. On long trips-500mi one way' the bike gets about 65mpg. and cruises smoothly at 65 to 70. I will probably go with 501`s or BT-45`s when my tyres need to be replaced. I am very happy with the bike and have no plans to replace her. My last bike was a Norton 750 and this Ninjette would seriously embarass the 750. Time marches on.
