What is wrong with the IRC tires? I've heard people don't like them but not really any reasons why? As for what tires fit the 250, here you go.. http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/What_ti...fit_the_250%3F .

On my '89 Ninja 250 (previous gen with 16" tires) I've tried Pirelli ST-66 5,540 miles, Bridgestone BT-45 7,792 miles, Kenda K-671 9,841 miles. I'm currently running Avon Roadriders AM-26 with 11,350 miles on them.
