My suggestions:
Include links to jump to 1st unread post in threads along with quote notifications. You will no longer be marking all other posts in a thread as read just because you checked on a quote notification.
Shorter [y] tag that does the same thing as [youtube] and [youtubehd] along with common alternates for some smileys, like :? for and for
Add exception for "FTFY" so the forum's automatic allcaps detection/correction will stop lower-casing the entire fixed quote. I know of at least one other forum that fixed it.
