In the $7k to $8k range, it gets a little dicey for me. Soon enough, people are going to be able to get Ninja 300's for $5.5k OTD almost everywhere, and closer to $5K OTD in some places. Would that same buyer be willing to pay $2k - $3k more?

I don't live in the UK, the island I live on is technically British but not part of the UK, same as the Falkland islands or Gibraltar, our prices tend to be about 10%-20% higher than the UK due to import associated costs, but we don't pay the 20% VAT "sales tax" the UK does, so more expensive items like cars and bikes tend to be cheaper than the UK as import won't cost nearly 20% of the value of a new vehicle.
The Duke 200 was £3500 that's $5546 usd "listed as £3995 on their site now"
My ninja 250 was £3995 that's $6330 usd
The Ninja 300 isn't sold here yet, the price is TBC at my dealers.
