As far as highway speeds, I was going 70 indicated this morning, and it was hitting somewhere around the top of my visor instead of full-on my chest, made for a much more comfortable ride!

Yes that's me from KF! And yes I am bummed out about the accident but I'll post up the story for others to benefit from the accident experience and knowledge that others may not have in dealing with the insurance, lawyers or police etc. I'm mostly mad that it ruined my weekend ride plans (I was supposed to go on that Sunday ride up the Angeles Crest Highway) and I had bought rearsets to install too
