my 2008 ninja has now 82,000 miles. And my 02 has 28,000 miles.

Id be horribly pissed off if a bike was "Shot" at 10,000 miles. What a horrible thing. I think i would stop riding at that point and just drive. It seems machines are pretty reliable.
