how to flush coolant system?
hey so I got an 08 used a about half a year ago, and I don't know whether he just topped off his coolant, or whether PO put in different coolant. as far as I'm aware, the safe thing to do would be to flush the system, right?
I don't have the shop manual (heck dealer didn't even give me owner's manual) so i was wondering if i missed a diy thread in here, or if someone might enlighten me? thanks! |

If you are not sure if the coolant has been changed or not, it won't hurt to change for the upcoming riding season. Just make sure you use a good motorcycle coolant and follow the service manual instructions. (see attachment)
