250R 08+ parts list

Good day everyone!

I've only been a member for a short period of time and this site has given me great ideas and info about all kinds of parts that I would eventually like to have. There was so many and all in different places that i was having problems keeping track of everything. I then decided to make a list of everything that i had found up to now and make it as clean as possible. I hope that all of you will contribute to making this list grow. I know there is a lot of stuff missing but lets add it all as it goes! Hope this also helps others trying to find parts!

I approved the post (came up as spam with all of the links), but I deleted all references to a parts site that has ripped off a number of members here, and has still never made it right. They do not get to advertise here.

Max something that may clean the list up more would be attaching the links to product. So that it is the link itself. just a suggestion

also then you can put the full link to the actual product. So when you click on it, it goes to the product mentioned

this is a good idea, especially if leading to the manufacturers website which is the idea here, not to make any reseller a favorite.. i guess once you know the product, people can make their own research on where to get the part.

There's also that long-running thread List Your Mods that a good number of members have shared just about everything they've done to their bikes.

I just liked this idea since if someone is like hey where can I get integrated tail light, BOOM link this thread. (of course have Tri as the number one dealer lol) Thats why I also think they should be linked in the products. Its a pain when you just go to the main site then have to search... I guess maybe im just lazy but still

I definitely like the idea of adding a list of sellers on the forum. I like the idea of helping out those who have been willing to give us customers the support that, with a very few exceptions, have been giving. There's a bunch of really great sellers here.

But I feel like unless we mention everyone, we would be showing a bias, and that could potentially hurt the people who we don't mention, which wouldn't be fair. I think that it's best to keep the links to the manufacturers sites and not link to any specific sellers here. We can maybe mention people that we've had good experiences with though

Personally, I've bought from http://www.hotmotostore.com/ (richard @ racebikerentals.com) and I really wish I had the money to do business with kerry from area p, but I just don't right now. the the product that I can use was discontinued anyways... So far, so good

yeah if the manufacturer sells it themselves Id just leave it there. Especially if it is the cheapest. If they want other places to get it they can always search...

indeed a list of all worth to mention online resellers is a great idea and could be added to the thread as well eventually!

Are there any other brands that make preload adjusters? Do they have to be 250 specific?

This already exists, look at the sticky threads in the marketplace areas.
