Softest/Best grips?

thoughts? I'm in the market and I commute. I really want something comfortable. Thanks guys! (I have a pregen btw, but I assume they share the same grip size/styles.)

I have the progrip gel grips and so far they're very comfortable and fairly grippy.

When you get them, be careful of the bar end screws. They are held in with loctite and will strip. The screw head is not as strong as the loctite. Ask me how I know.

You may want to heat up the bar ends with a mini blowtorch being careful not to fry your plastic throttle, or use a soldering gun to heat them. (I went with the soldering gun option, though 10 minutes too late, and it worked like a charm.) Locktite loses grip at high temps. If you have an impact wrench, that works, too. Otherwise heat and a ratchet attachment for a phillips head.

There is a bit of glue on the ends of your existing grips, too. You'll need to break that away with a bit of elbow grease and some real grease/lube, too. To put the new grips on, I recommend using hairspray. Slick when wet to help you slip them on, then dries tacky to keep them from moving around on the bars.

Have fun.

I blasted those suckers off with an impact driver, then clamps to finish the job. Replaced them with some cool aftermarket ones

Thank you for the hairspray tip though!
