Motorcycle Stands
I'm brand new to the motorcycle world, so I'm lacking when it comes to specific tools. Can someone recommend a place where I can get the least expensive front and rear stands, and spools.
I don't need something that's going to be bulletproof as I'll only be using them for general maintenance in my driveway, but I do want them to be quality. Also, would a spool stand be the best for the front? |

I just got these stands last weekend ($64):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details I also have these spools ($12.50): http://t-rex-racing.com/catalog.php?item=293 Even with shipping it should be under $100. The quality for the spools is solid. As for the stands I’m not 100% sure it’s solid for long term storage but should be good for maintenance purposes. I think the fork lift stand is too close to the brake disks and it sits slightly off on the left side due to the odometer cable. Doesn’t wobble or anything just not sure the parts where it connects to the bike are solid. The rest of the stands are very well made. |

I got this a few weeks ago....BEST accessory I've ever bought for a bike. Blows a fork stand right out of the water.

Thanks! Looks like I'll be picking up a rear stand from Harbor Freight and some spools online. I figure the front stand can wait, as the bike is brand new right now.
