Cool new paint job!

some before and after pictures of my bike with the new paint job. the first pic is the bike in stock form the first day I brought it home. the second is after i put on the bohemian rear sets with wc clipons. the last one is with the Custom LED int. tail light from Tri's GB special. I'm also rocking all of Tri's LED flush mount signals up front and in the rear. in hindsight i should have either got black rearsets or bare aluminum. i need to get my rear sets and pre-load adjusters anodized or stripped next.

the owner is a forum member here "CThunder-blue". quality stuff, he orders the lights and puts on OEM plugs so everything is plug and play. No need to hack up your stock harnesses and its very simple to return to stock if you need to.

Damn sharp bike. Love the flush fronts. You should also consider doing this to your brake rotor. Don't know why, but have always liked this look. I may even do mine.

i took mine off due to upgrading to a 150 rear tire. I had some slight rubbing of the chain guard. i eventually fixed it with some spacers. but i don't really see any negatives other than if you wear baggy clothing you could risk it getting caught in there.

Very clean looking bike. I really wish manufacturers would offer a solid white paint scheme like that.

to the OP

you bought a red bike, to paint it white ? I don't get it

or was the bike in an accident, and you decided to go with the white paint

I am not knocking what you did, just trying to understand.

by the way the bike looks great

i got the bike second hand for a pretty good deal. hard to find the new gens used in my area for under $3k. but i quickly found out why it was such a good price. the kid had probably dropped the bike when he had it, as the lower fairings were re-painted. if you look closely you can notice a different shade of red between the fairing and tank. unfortunately the day i bought the bike, it rained all day, so i didn't get a good look at everything. i rode the bike for a season, low sided it, scratched up the fairings a lil. luckily my buddy is a auto body painter so he had some white left over from his bike this spring, so i told him to do mine as well.
