Solo Seat Cowl Fitment Woes
I have tried to search and come up with very little useful info...
I have a Kawi solo Seat Cowl that has fit terrible since day 1. Then I lost the rear rubber grommet and thanks to searching found the part number for a replacement from Lowes  Even before I installed the droopy hotbodies undertail there was a 5/8" gap all the way around the solo seat cowl; it sat really high off the rear farings compared to the stock passenger seat. Now with the hotbodies it sits an additional 1/4" higher (or rather the undertail sags a 1/4") Since I dont want to put bolts up through the underside of the hotbodies I figures I would lover the solo cowl. How do you guys typically go about doing this? Bend the front metal bracket attached to the solo cowl? Shave down the rubber pads in addition to bending? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
