Any fans of "AC Sanctuary" ?
AC Sanctuary, it's a Japanese custom motorcycle company, in Japan.
It's not a hard rock band. What they do from what it seems is make (or rather re-make) Japanese bikes into their own. They call them R.C.M's = Real Complete Machines So I've been looking at these bikes of theirs and I've been wondering, "wow, those are some beautiful looking bikes". I really like their style. Has anyone here ever checked one out in person ? http://www.ac-sanctuary.co.jp/english/ |

Looking at most of them, I thought "Too rich for my blood." I imagine the feeling would be more intense if I could read Japanese rather than speculate from the photos.
Cool, but not for me. I'd rock one of these though. They were everywhere last time I was in Okinawa, but I rarely encounter them in the states. I think one might find a similar situation with Japanese custom shops: there's no shortage of shops producing quality work, they just don't have much exposure in the Anglophone world. Also, someone please tell them that their website could be accomplished without Flash and run SO. MUCH. FASTER.

If I had the money I'd rock that bike so hard. Love that design
The truck is legit too but I think a van is a lot better for track use, probably going to be my next track transportation when my truck hits 300k mi

I'm partial to the ford transit myself, never been a fan of dodge
Though my family has connections to chevy so I can get deep discounts on their stuff, probably gonna be rolling around in a 6spd new gen v8 camaro (next generation) and a chevy work van someday

If it makes you feel better about the Sprinter, it's a Mercedes with an American badge, manufactured in Dusseldorf. Maybe I should've called it a Mercedes Freightliner? I'm not really a fan of any American carmakers tbh.
Transits are a fine choice as well! I had some brief optimism/delusion about the Transit Connect, but it's not big enough to offer a worthwhile improvement of the pickup. The larger Transits are an even substitute for the Sprinter in my mind.

Yeah the transit connect is smaller than I'd like, there's really not much advantage to a van that isn't full size but there are a myriad of advantages to the full size vans
That does drastically improve my view of the sprinter
