valve shim exchange?

in the midst of my valve clearance adjustment, and amazed there isn't a exchange set up? or am i missing something?

A local dealer manages one. When they are doing valves, if they do need new ones, they have sets and sets of ones around that are exchanged. If you agree to let them keep the ones removed from the bike, the cost for the new ones that are needed is minimal.
