Hello everyone...Want some input on this bike
Just wanted to start off by saying hello and glad i found this forum. I am taking my MSF this sat/sun and am super excited to start riding a motorcycle. I originally planned on starting on an R6 but more and more I read itll be better to start on the 250. The newgen 250 still has an amazing body style and will defintely be a great bike to learn on from what I have been reading. I actually just saw this ad posted when I checked out craigslist when I got home from work and it seems like a really good deal from what I have been checking out for the past month or so.
http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/mcd/3296165495.html This is one of the best deals i found for a newgen 250, the other being an 08 going for 2300 but had a crack in the fairing. So just curious what you guys and gals think. I plan on checking out the bike tomorrow when i get out of my classes. Just a heads up i got quoted from state farm for a 250 being around 22 a month with a 250 deductable. Also i have all my gear already, leather perf jacket, full gauntlet gloves, exo1000 helmet and some icon boots. Thanks a lot everyone |

Hi Jeffrey and welcome to Ninjette! Kudos to you on taking the MSF and having your gear! The bike looks good. i would try and see if you could get the walk-out price lower on that bike.
The 08 doesn't sound like a bad deal at all, but I would have to really look at it to see the extent of the damage before purchase.

So i got my bike yesterday and am very happy with it. I got the bike for just under 3300 otd. I thought it was a good deal for a 2012 and still has warranty till may. Even though it was 1145 miles it's still very low and the price was amazing. I'll upload pics in a little. I can't wait to start riding
