A more aggressive 250

So, a couple of days ago a guy I met let me take his zx6r around the corner. Aside from the performance there was one thing I absolutely loved about it, and that was the aggressive positioning. What are some things I could do that would make my 250 have a more aggressive positioning feel?

1. Lower your bars. Get cut away fairings to allow really low clip ons.
2. Taller rear shock.
3. Raise rear end with a shock link.
4. drop front forks slightly.
5. Replace your seat padding with More Padding and reshape to make it taller.
6. Rearsets for up and back foot controls.

One of the things that make it difficult to have the same feeling from body position is the much wider midsection on a SS inline four. It splays the legs out and bit and kinda forces you to grip more with your legs.

Six of one half a dozen of the other. An hour or two on my 6R and I curse it for my back and wrists, riding the ninjette aggressively I wish I had a bit more to latch on to (I have clip ons, rear sets, increased rear ride height with links, and lowered forks on the ninjette)

I noticed the wider midsection. I actually really liked that larger feeling, felt like I had more to hold on to.

I really wish the 250 had a fatter or flared tank.

To the OP: You realize that it won't make the 250 any faster and will most likely make it LESS comfortable to ride on.

I do this already. Still doesn't feel quite the way I enjoyed.

And yes, I know it won't improve performance, and probably be less comfortable. But I dig the aggressive look, along side the feeling.

The aggressive seating position on the R6 took me a long time to get used to, but now I love it. I sat back on my friends 250, and it just feels like a toy.

my butt stays pressed against the rear seat basically as far back as it will go because i'm relatively tall (6'0) for the ninjette... sitting back further gives your knees more room and it makes it easier to keep your ankles straight. it's also easier to lock your heel into the outside peg when you are back further

you should try sitting on a 250 race bike. its similar to an r6 feels (well... smaller still) when the rear is raised the front is lowered and its got race controls
