Area P/Fuel Moto FI Micro Tuners - Ninja 300 - now available!

Area P/Fuel Moto FI Micro Tuners for Ninja 300 Follow thread for additional information as well. http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=117455

The Fuel Moto Micro Tuner features a powerful range of fuel adjustments, utilizing proprietary logic. The new Micro Programmers are available exclusively from Area P and Fuel Moto only. We’ve had a long-term relationship with Fuel Moto and asked for these units to be specifically developed for the Ninja 300. The unit is easy to install and utilizes OEM type connectors (plug & play). Fuel Moto is the leading expert in our industry for FI management. We have partnered with them because they have a similar technical and customer support background to Area P. A variety of Maps is currently available and can be pre-programmed/loaded for you, based on your mods (or no mods). Additional Map databases will be continually under development for most combinations of tune, elevation, temperature and humidity conditions.

We have an extensive map support system and warranty that sets a new industry standard (the Micro Programmer comes with a two year warranty). For those who may not wish to experiment with the Tuning features included on the CD in the kit, you can simply contact us and explain what your particular bike is doing or not doing within your riding conditions and/or state-of-tune. We can then make changes to your specific map and e-mail it to you as part of our support system. Or, you can take advantage of our live “Offsite Tuning Support”. In simple terms, we can access/log onto to your computer that you have the map up on, and make adjustments in real time! This particular feature will be done through Fuel Moto and support will cover all Area P and Fuel Moto maps with purchase of the Micro Programmer.

• Very small and easy to mount (1/3 smaller than a Dynojet PC-V)
• Includes USB Cable, CD ROM Software, easy to follow instructions
• Multiple Map Storage which can be switched on the unit
• Computer and/or Faceplate Map adjustments
• Pre-programming available for your specific modifications
• Two Year Warranty
• Map Support exclusively through Area P and Fuel Moto
• Live Offsite Tuning Support (Fuel Moto only)

Price $249.95

My has has a Mac and he runs Windows 7 on it. He can shuffle back and forth between his Mac OS and Windows by swiping left or right on the track pad with like 3 fingers or something. He does this because he's a programming major and it allows him to run Windows programs on his mac and go back and forth.

That might be an option for you.

Specifically, this is designed for the 300 only, as is our map database. But, my understanding of the wiring harness is that yes, it can. Since we do not have direct access to the 250 FI model, map support would be very limited. We do however have a map we worked with for a customer several years ago in Europe. This could be re-written and loaded as a good base map to start with on the 250 FI model. There are a few other things you would need to do, but we may be able to assist you with this. If interested PM and we'll try to come up with something for you.

This tuner arrived today. I have an Akra slip on for a 250 and a decatted stock header.

AWESOME.

The engine now pretty much totally exceeds anything I ever expected a 250 Ninja based engine could ever be, and it was already doing that stock! The torque is even better than before, pulls clean from 2500 RPM, hauls with a hit into the low mid around 4500, then flat pulls hard to around 12500. It might fall off there just a tad but I'm having trouble shifting fast enough to avoid the limiter. It popped the front wheel off the ground in the 1-2 shift.

WOW.

Open up the exhaust, add this tuner and let it rip. I'm probably running a touch fat too, still waiting for my K&N air filter panel.

Side benefit, I had upgraded to 93 octane last few weeks to track down a mettalic tingle I could hear around 4-5k RPMs. I wrote it off as a fairing noise as the premium fuel seemed to lessen but not cure it.

Well, it is gone now. Had it earlier today, can't get it despite loading it hard uphill. It would do that everywhere before, flat land, down hill, anytime you applied fuel in that RPM range.
