Yea, wow very informative but definitely a lot of tools, time, and money required. You might as well start your own painting/repair business after getting all that stuff...

i repaired my broken tail with a fiberglass kit from fred meyer, watched some you tube videos on how to fiberglass...sanded it really well...used glazing and spot putty to fill any low spots...sanded again...and spayed with colorite spray paint...although i still need to wet sand and polish...i put it on the bike so i could ride, and it looks great...no one would ever be able to tell i have never worked with fiberglass, and even the paint not being perfect is hardly noticeable unless you know and are really looking close
