Nope, it only works on the right side. Also in terms of mounting it you might end up having to shave into your helmet's foam if you want to mount it and will also have to come up with some way to insulate it/use a heatsink so that the heat is contained or dissipates.

can this be mounted for left side use?

How well does it work with a helmet? I heard they are doing a market survey for potential development of a helmet mounted system in the future. I also heard that these generate a bit of heat making helmets hot.
