Just ordered the Danmoto GP CF exhaust.

So should the stripes stay on or come off ???

Hmmm, it's not bad yo. I could go either way.

If I had a black bike...I'd go all out black. That's just me though and the bike, as it is, is still sweet.

I would lose the stripes.
But thats just me :)

I always thought black concealed the lines of the body, but the stripes bring them back out. I'd leave them....it looks good.

I'd say keep them just because you paid a few hundred more to have them...

And I like the way they show the body lines

You paid an extra $200 for those stripes, you sure you want to take them off? :lol:

Here it is, removed the gray vinyl by the screw.

Bottom vinyl had to go.

I had to cut the gray part off and it didn't have the clean cut look.

That looks ok But in my opinion leave the rest it looks cool

I think you should keep it on, it gives the bike character and you can see the lines of your bike.

The more you remove, the more "character" you're losing.

i didnt like those stripes and this is why i decided to buy a 2010 and not a 2012... i was glad they had 1 left in stock, it still looks good, just not as good as all black imo.

Yea, I originally wanted a 2011 all black and they couldn't get any. So I got this one knowing I could peel it at any time.

Ditto that, I looked at the 2012s and didn't like the striping. Maybe if there were other color options than yellow. So I got an all black 2011 and I can make it my own with decals and/or the striping of my choice.

Not yet because I haven't decided on a color scheme yet, just got my bike last week. But I'm thinking about holographic decals.

Love the wife's bike! I currently have black and pink accessories (jacket, gloves, helmet) but I know I don't want to wear pink all the time so I'm not sure if I want to commit to that permanently on the bike yet. But hers looks great!

the pink looks ok i guess, doesnt stand out too much! thumbs up on that... although i am not a big fan of the stiping and stuff, i must admit the new white version with the red and grey accent looks amazing! i was debating between the white and the full black 2010 and it was a pretty hard descision but no regrets!

She wanted just enough to make it more feminine without going overboard. The yellow stripes on the stock was a bit overboard to me but hey, to each his own.

Pure black is much better. Didn't like the 2012 SE stripes at all.

Yea they are gone! The Kawasaki is clear coated underneath.

It's not that bad.

I peeled them off and took pictures as I removed them.

If i was going to leave any on it would have been the one right below the ninja decal.

They were not that bad, just not to my liking. LOL! :artist:

If you dont mind me askin wich sized rim tape is ur gf rockin? Will be transforming my bike once i hit the 600 service mark, will transform it from stock then :)
