Got myself this helmet today and this jacket from Revzilla downtown. Didn't buy the bike yet but I'll also be ordering gloves online. Tried some in the store and I fit in medium and large, depending on styles.

This helmet was very comfy and fit snug. It also fit my glasses fine with a little of working them in.

The jacket is very snug and also has back and elbow protectors. Its waterproof and with mesh inner lining that can be washed. I feel very comfy in it.

I got it in reflective green since the bike I hopefully soon will be getting is green and black too.

Any recommendations on some gloves that are around 30-40 bucks?

Yeh I have boots brand new. They are medium high ankle boots with steel reinforcements. I'll use these till I save up some more to get nicer alpine star or puma boots. I can actually get them next paycheck but didn't have time to try them on. I wear size 10 work boots so I will need to check.

I want black and green gloves to match too.

Yeh I didn't want to spend a fortune on them so the guy went back and looked for what they had on closeout or clearence. I tried on the one I bought, afx, and also tried on the Gmx 38 but that put so much pressure on my cheeks and upper head that it was giving me headaches. Tried on a lot of jackets and the one I got fits the best and was within my price range. Has a good amount of armor too.

I picked up the jacket as my first one a couple weeks ago. I wore it once and had to send it back. It was HOT. The venting was not enough.

Yeh it can get pretty hot but you can take out the mesh lining. I wore it a bit today and it is around 77 here today. Didn't feel too hot in it, the place is a nice store but I didn't have much time on a Saturday to look for something. On work days they close by the time I would get there.
