Just thinking about getting one and was wondering what others are using and which ones people like.

I bought a GoPro, seems pretty simple and easy to use. I had bought it used from a dude, it seemed to have a problem. GoPro replaced it with a bran new one, no questions asked. Thought that was pretty awesome service, for not even having a warranty(not buying it new)

If you want an easy, cheap video of your rides, most digital still cameras now days have a movie or video mode on them That's what I used to shoot the vid of my ride.

What kinda camera you got? My fuji does pretty good on vids, the cannon... eats up memory quick.

This is what I thought about getting before the gopro.

I used some cheapy Kodak Digital camera my GF had and loaded it up with 1GB of memory. lol.. the vid capacity outlasts a full battery charge.

That link looks good... thanks. :)

I've been looking at this, but can't find enough info on it to commit...

I have a Drift Innovation X170 which is a pretty nice small camera with many different mounting options - Ram, helmet, handlebar, tripod mounts - less expensive than the Go Pros. It has a wider angled fisheye lens which takes in more of the surrounding view as you travel as opposed to the just straight ahead view of all the other cameras and takes real nice videos.

I don't think you can beat the GoPro HD right now for the price.

They also have an HD one as well that is supposed to be pretty great. How are still photos on yours?

I just ordered the Drift Stealth HD170 from ebay for pretty cheap! Heres a review:

GoPro HD

Here is the last one I took... On my 50" at home it's true HD, very nice quality, the upload cut it down a little but still looks good...

There are several mounts that cut vibration; the RAM mounts are particularly forgiving.

You have a lot of possibilities. You can either by an actioncam like the GoPro or Drift. You can MacGyver it with some velcro and a small cam like the MD80. Or you can buy a mount and use the digital cam you already have. Choices are good!

My setup is:
Camera Mount (http://www.amazon.com/Delkin-Devices-DDMOUNT-MINI-Knuckle-Suction/dp/B002K8Q0EU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1302909069&sr=8-2)
Kodak Playsport (http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-PlaySport-Waterproof-Pocket-Camera/dp/B0030MITDK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1302909087&sr=1-1)

Works beautifully.
