The stock helmet lock position was to close to my exhaust and I have recently started commuting to work so I modified a lunchbox to strap right to my bike. It has held on so far up to 80 mph.

I found the lunchbox at WalMart for under $10 they have green, blue, and red. It kept my lunch cool all day outside in the heat today.

thats funny! i bought one of those lunchboxes at walmart last month for 9$ and some change, but i just use my handy dandy cargo net to hold it. it was under 4$ at harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/motorcycle-cargo-net-67010.html

here are some pics

i also found that when u strap it on its side like this, it makes a killer back rest >=) the cargo net has 6 hooks so 1 for each latch and i hood the last 2 together and attach them to my bitch bar. so far i have been at almost 105 mph and it doesnt move an inch.

 Thanks for the link, I've been looking for a good cargo net to help keep things held down. My lunch box has stayed on my bike full and also empty so far.
