I can get the Thumbs ok,
I can't seem to do big pics like Kelly's http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9432
I just get the X

If you want to do that you have to upload them to your photo album (or another photo hosting site), and make sure they are the proper height and width. Then just link to the image...
Alex will probably give you better instructions haha :P
Alex December 18th, 2008, 10:27 AM You're having issues because you're trying to paste the embed html code:
<img src="http://api.photoshop.com/home_b4c285601462449690b678aa3accbab7/adobe-px-thumbnails/0ce7bb1e69354a65831b9708dc5f9617/1024.jpg" alt="Drilled five 1/2' holes in muffler and sprayed it BBQ black"/>
what you want is the URL code, which they give you right below on that PhotoShop site. Looks like this:
http://api.photoshop.com/home_b4c285601462449690b678aa3accbab7/adobe-px-thumbnails/0ce7bb1e69354a65831b9708dc5f9617/1024.jpg
Then just surround that URL with <img></img> tags (but use [ and ] instead of < and >, and you're all set.
Then it comes out just like this:
http://api.photoshop.com/home_b4c285601462449690b678aa3accbab7/adobe-px-thumbnails/0ce7bb1e69354a65831b9708dc5f9617/1024.jpg
CRXTrek December 18th, 2008, 10:28 AM Thanks for helping.
I have them on Photoshop and i resize them to web page but i still get the X
Same over at KF

Alex December 18th, 2008, 10:37 AM Just hit the quote button on my post, and you'll see how I did it. I'm sure you're close. Once you figure out how to do it here, it's the same for just about any vbulletin forum (and most other forums as well). The yellow postcard icon above the edit window adds the img tags automatically. So the process is just:
go to your photosite, get the URL code (by clicking the link/embed button, then choosing the size you want, then hitting the URL info). come back here, hit the yellow postcard, and hit paste. That should be it.
Here's example URL code right from your site:
http://api.photoshop.com/home_b4c285601462449690b678aa3accbab7/adobe-px-thumbnails/0ce7bb1e69354a65831b9708dc5f9617/1024.jpg
Yours isn't working right now because you have too many extra brackets, and it looks like you didn't copy the whole URL code correctly. It needs to start with http:// and end with .jpg.
CRXTrek December 18th, 2008, 10:52 AM Thanks for helping.:D
I've got to get ready for work.
I'll play with this later.

Alex December 18th, 2008, 08:06 PM :D So close but so far... It's not working now because you've got double http:// tags in front of your url. It looks like "http://http// and then the rest of the the string. If you remove the double tags, I think you're there.
CRXTrek December 18th, 2008, 08:28 PM I did it !!!
THANKS
After hitting yellow postcard i needed to clear the http that comes up.
Where's the REP button ? Thanks for walking me thru it all !!!

THANKS
After hitting yellow postcard i needed to clear the http that comes up.
Where's the REP button ? Thanks for walking me thru it all !!!
After hitting the postcard, just press ctrl-A and it will select all, then ctrl-V to paste your URL in. A few less keystrokes than trying to clear that first http:// manually.
No rep needed on this board; it's a no :asshat: zone.

NJD022588 December 19th, 2008, 08:54 AM Are you having any clearance issues with your clipons? I've read before that you need to rotate the controls to allow for clearance, but I see you didnt do that.

Yeah , Thats my Rex... 1991 Honda CRX-Si, last of the line and no Missouri does not require turn signals. But when ClearAlternatives gets off their  and releases a tail light i'll put it on .
sombo April 14th, 2009, 09:32 PM I'd be careful about having your plate angled in like that when you drive. You run the risk of cops giving you a hard time about it cause law requires it to be easily read from behind and sorry but that won't be from a cop car.
Otherwise nice bike pics in this thread.
miks April 14th, 2009, 09:46 PM Hows the 15" QC system? Never heard about anyone getting a QC for anything other than the 18".

BoogieQ April 30th, 2009, 10:58 AM Just a tip, it is easy to peel the sticker off on the swing arm that has all those 'warnings' on it. Cleans up the look all nice and neat like.

Once off just scuff it up with 100 grit wet-dry sandpaper dipped in a dishsoap and water mix. Let dry. Then spray multiple thin light coats of a high temp BBQ paint. Allow 15 or 20 minutes to dry in between coats.
