are the saddle bags big enough to carry the 5ft kyrptonite chain? and a decent size bike cover? (no matter where i go im bringing both, i am extremely theft paranoid.) will the bags be able to hold those to items. specifically

Other suggestions for ya

Small and easy to pack around, won't stop if it's lifted into something though.

Don't use a bike cover unless your storing for a long time and you have a soft underlay, wind can easily cause scuffing on your paint and remove paint from high spots, it doesn't take long. Just make a condom cover for your ignition to keep moisture out. But I'm little different than most.

Don't know how much that chain weighs. Those saddlebags will sag unless you give them support. They have lots of room, the bike cover would be no problem. I got tired of my bags drooping and riveted some backer material inside them and mounted them to my 650r as if they were hardbags and they work great now.
