My 1991 CBR600F2. Bought it at 20000km sold it at 50000km. Loved it. Learned to ride on it. Shown here heading into Northern Ontario on a road trip I took when I graduated college.

Me, and the Goof2 (600F2) in Sudbury, at a gas station. These were taken years ago.

I miss that bike. But it was sold to pay for an engagement ring.

My next bike, a 2000 CBR600F4. Loved it ALMOST as much as the F2. It was a great ride though. Shown here somewhere around Thunder bay heading to Duluth. I was making an attempt at the iron butt rally. I road around ALL of the great lakes in 4 days. A bit too long to officially count.. but I had a blast
doing it.

Me again. I lost weight. The bike didn't.

There is me, this summer. The little 250RR. More weight lost.

Wish I had better pics of me and the ninjette, but I don't.

Greg,

Awesome bikes. I went through almost the same progression w/ F2, F3 and the now 250R. I wish I could get my hands on a CBR250 or 400. :crazyloco:

Not going to lie. I still am. ;) My next bike will be a CBR600RR or VFR800 depending on my mood and insurance quotes. But kawi will always be a close 2nd.

Guess he realized that Green is not the fastest Ninja 250R. Probably wishes he would have bought a BLACK one!

Whats your secret to losing the weight. :p
I'm a bit under 220 right now, would be nice to get down to 175 or so (I'm a tall guy).

Willpower. Thats the 100% number one thing. Having the willpower to give yourself the self-control and motivation.

I just started eating healthy. I would not eat ANYTHING that was crappy. No cookies, chips, candy, donuts, cake. Anything fried was, for the most part, out. If I got snaky I would eat carrots and broccoli, raw. Sounds bland and gross but once you see a 10lbs loss or so you get the ultimate motivation from it to keep going. Then people start giving you compliments and it becomes even easier to keep going.

I also worked out. I would run for 30minutes to an hour everyday that I worked, on a treadmill in the gym. Did a bit of free weights and core stretches also.

Nothing fancy to what I did.

Oh, I also drank a boat load of green tea. Gave up booze for 7 months and drank green tea almost exclusively. Between 3-5 cups a day minimum.

Damn, now that's will power. My weight is constantly fluctuating from about 175-190, depending on how much lift/dont lift, how much cardio I incorporate into my workouts (sometimes I'll go month without), and eating habits related to my current schedule (which is always changing).

I havent been to the gym since September and I'm at 190 now. When I go to the gym, I'll probably be at 190 for quite a while since I loose fat at about the same rate I gain muscle with my workout. I just need to get my eating under control, which seems like the hardest part.

Nice bike! Is it lowered? The back looks pretty low.

Syphen
March 26th, 2009, 07:27 PM
It is lowered. 1" in the rear, 3/4 in the front. It is getting raised back to stock height next week. It has a Vortex lowering link in it now, but a guy I know who also has an F4i wants to trade. Stock for the Vortex. I'll be back to Normal height in no time.

Good idea. As long as you dont need it lowered for height reasons, raise it back up.

What year is it?

It is a 2001. Very similar to my 2000 F4, but refined here and there. FI is nice over the carbs.

Nice set of bikes! I've always had a thing for F4i's... probably 'cause my friend has had one for a couple years. I'm thinkin' F4i or one of these bad boys for my next bike:

I remembered this comment had been made soooo.. I took a 2009 ZX-6R to the track 2 weeks ago!

What a ride!! That slipper clutch is a dream and the bike pulls hard.

I know my Knee isn't down, I could have hung off the bike some more.. Amazingly I had 3rd fastest lap times out of the 30 some odd people that were there. I'm going to be converting my 600F4i to a track bike after the experience.
