Ninjette.org uses Smugmug to populate that pic in the top left, as well as the pic on the splash page right here (http://ninjette.org). The problem is that every once in a rare while, the smugmug site goes down for a short time. When they are down, these pics don't work.
They are very rarely down, and I really like the functionality of it popping up a random picture automatically, so the current plan is to leave it as is unless the drop-outs become unbearable. Smugmug is generally quite reliable, but they have had 2 or 3 issues in the past month.
