My house in Austria is about 1 min 30 seconds from the start of this road, it was good fun, I would go almost every day during the summer, I knew every inch of this road by heart.

This is with my 05 zx10r, I wish I had the 250 for it because it was TIGHT!

It was a very dangerous road, they said the most dangerous in Austria, this was my good friends bike, notice the helecopter landed on the road. He is ok now. He collided with another rider.

Looks like a fun road; sorry about your friend's accident. I was able to ride through Austria a few summers ago and really enjoyed the roads. We got to see the Grossglockner (which probably all tourists go to, but it's still a great road! :D) Would love to get back there someday.
