Apex June 18th, 2009, 03:26 PM Isn't FI cleaner and more efficient? Why not have them here? Simply because it isn't cost effective to have the 250 FI here. The 250 sales overseas are insane compared to here. People here are so hooked on the bigger bikes, they are going to conserve money by keeping things simple where they can. So until the demand increases for the 1/4-L bike, then it will probably stay carb'd for a while. Either that or until emissions get tough enough to not allow it to even be sold unless it was EFI. |
