Most riders have hear of the Isle of Man but most have never heard of the Macau GP with some of the same Isle of Man racers. I just came across this and figured I'd share. Don't try this at home.

14:00 for the start of the race

Yeah I rubbed my shoulder a few time on the sweeping left in the middle of the course, a bit unnerving at first but you get used to it. The most fun was when Rutter passed me on the brakes going into the 90deg after the hairpin. I rolled on the gas of the Gaves Yamaha R7-1 formula extreme bike and did a 5 gear power wheelie passed him. As I went by looking down at him he looked up shook his head and out broke me unto the final turn and pulled away. I could just hear him thinking to himself "damn yanks and there damn super bikes". Ah the good ol days:)

Thanks for sharing that, was a good sunday watch. I was hoping Hutchinson would pull it off (knew he didn't already) but was still hoping ... :) Good to see him make the podium on his first race back though, wonder if he gets nervous in traffic now.

Those Duc's are fast and man do they ever spend the money on eye candy for that race. (first 10 mins is worth it ... :D)

I had the opportunity to visit Macau last winter, it was pretty freaking awesome. All of the buses around town are free and are tour buses (Macau is big on gambling). And the station for the Tour buses is pit-lane! Really neat to walk around the city imagining cars and bikes fly around town at +100 MPH. Unfortunately I was there a week late so I didn't get to see the race that year :(

Macau GP is famous for wall and rail rubbing!

I'm sure many of you have seen Steve Plater doing this:
