Why would you not want to know who they are talking to, what they are responding to, etc? You'll just confuse yourself. Are you saying that you don't like the extra vertical scrolling?

Alex: I've seen a lot of forums that hide quotes with buttons that expand them. This also means that nested quotes are usually allowed. Something like that could be cool if it's easily possible with a free plugin or something.

I haven't seen it on any vbulletin forums. Not something I think I'd want to add, anyway.

Sorry - I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. The OP doesn't like the "new post" notifications that you get under your name on the top right when someone quotes you.

What about those spoiler alert buttons? Doesn't open until you click the spoiler button. We need those :D
