What happened to the "Mark all as read" link that used to be underneatht he "Unread Posts" link?

People were fat fingering it and accidentally hitting it when they were going for notifications, or to view their unread posts. The same link is still at the bottom of the "View New Posts" pull-down menu (Mark Forums Read).

Thanks for the move Alex. I have hit it once (with mouse) and nearly hit it quite a few times via keyboard.

I changed the phrase slightly to make it more clear; it now says "Mark All Threads Read".

Didn't even notice it was gone... I like having my unread posts near 20K. Guess that happens when I almost always ignore General Discussion and Off Topic... I'll go in there occasionally... but not very often.

I guess it is helpful for the masses though :thumbup:

Smartphones and tablets and such are often to blame. I can't tell you how many times I almost threw my iPhone 4 because it misinterpreted a touch and clicked the "Mark Unread" link when I was scrolling, zooming, or right on-target for "Unread Posts." Grrr...

A "Crap! That isn't what I wanted to do! Un-do! Un-do!" function would be just as useful, but a lot harder to implement.
