Greetings 250 fans! I too am here due to the encouragement of Kelly- it's just getting too crazy over at that other forum.
I'm on my second 250R, and before the 2001 (see my avatar), I owned a Gpz305, the Ninja 250's air cooled ancestor.
I've got about 1500 miles on my blue 2008, and my mods are minimal- Puig racing windscreen, bobbed rear fender, reflectors removed, rear seat cowl. I'm thinking about some new mirrors, and I just got a Pit Bull single forward handle rear stand and a new set of Pirelli Sport Demons for next year. If I had seen the tire test posted elsewhere here, I would have ordered the Avons, since they rated better than the Sport Demons and are 25% cheaper. I guess I'll try the Avons next time.
