View Full Version : Smelly gloves

I found an add on CL for a pair of gloves and met up with the seller. I offered him 20$ and he accepted:thumbup:

I'm assuming they've been drenched in sweat because after a ride they make my hands smell like a pile of dirty gym clothes:( I've tried baby powder but that only worked temporarily:/

Any suggestions on how to rid the gloves of this stench? Thanks guys.

Maybe this is a noob question, but can you have them dry cleaned?

That never crossed my mind. I'll take it the local cleaners to see what they say. Thanks

the smell is fermented sweat and dead skin

try one of those places that clean sports equipment.
they have different machines that specialize in dissolving the stench.

the process worked well for my boxing gloves, and my cousins hockey equipment.

since its small you might be able to talk them into doing it for free.
