Stopped by the dealership at lunch and they have a white 300 on the showroom floor. I took a seat and, aside from the bike visually feeling larger, I thought the ergos were the same as the 250. That said, it seems to me that the bike has a slightly better build quality than the 250 (compared side by side).

The dealer had a black 300 in the back and I got to take a peek: The bike looks good in black.

Sat on the 636 and it is a very nice bike with sportbike ergos.

They had one in black?! Wuuut Went to the dealership with a friend today and they had 1 white 300 and 2 green/black 636's. Makes me sad knowing the '13 636 doesnt have the CBR rear exhaust :(

Did sit on the 300 though, feels amazing. wouldnt let me test ride though.

I would love to see the black one in person! Are you considering buying any?

I just got an email from Kawi today, saying they're offering free rides on the 636 and 300 at "select dealers". I already bought a 300, but to those on the fence, check it out. Details on the Kawi website.

My Ninjette loyalty tugs at me to buy a 300. However, I kind of lust for a bug eye street triple :

Personally, I love the looks both the 300 and 636. I purchased an 09 600RR w/ abs but would have possibly considered a 636. My only problem is the price on the 636. It is pricey even for today's standards. But for the price, at least you know you are getting some great technology aids. Props for Kawasaki for injecting some life back in the 600 scene and of course, responding to the CBR250
