It's best to remove the sprocket when mounting/balancing a tire. It just pulls right out of the wheel.

I thought it meant that someone is attempting to set a new small-displacement landspeed record until I clicked through and saw how closely Alex's bike resembled a Star Wars landspeeder. :)

i also assumed a salt flats racer was considering setting a record with a 300 bike :o

powdercoat the wheels while you have them off, gold or white?

Why anyone would make their wheels more easily show dirt & grime is beyond me. Black is great, it's very close to the color of dirt. :)

have you seen those rat rod paint jobs? they intentionally make a rust colored paint job so it looks old and nasty but its actually a quality paint job.

"what color should i spray the wheels?" --"dirty flaking rust, please!"
