Washed all of our machines yesterday, and once they were all dry today I spend some time with the Plexus and some rags on all 3 of 'em. Figured now was as good a time as any to take some more pictures. :photo:

I waited too long and the sun was pretty bright (sorry Sunny!), so the color definition isn't what it would have been a few hours earlier...

Someone was asking for a close-up of my fender, so here it is. (and at this close, I realized that it wasn't as clean as I thought it was!)

Evil you are! nah it's cool...

On the 'big brother' is that a tank 'bra' (as in a car bra that goes over the front of the car.)?

Alex, Beautiful pictures. Today was my first time out with a digital camera. The camera I borrowed from my father-in-law was a SONY that did 10 m egapixels and all sorts of other stuff. I think I`ll retire my Pentax 35 and go digital. Blue, You and Alex converted me. Think I`ll take a computer course this winter since I can go for free. Blue, they do make a tank (Bra) for the Ninjette--I have one on mine. You can check out what it looks like under the pictures Alex published under "Monster Graphics--" today.

Thanks Alex (And please call me Sunny!)

I love converting people it makes life so fun. Soon we will take over the world with a digital cult!

Aside from the normal reasons for taking courses it is always good to keep up todate with things. You don't need the latest and greatest to survive in this world but a little bit of knowledge goes a long way.

I saw the pictures. I just don't know if they make a tank bra for the earlier gen ninjas.

Sunny, They do make one for the earlier Ninjas---Dennis Kirk Catalog, page 393, Part #50-3522, $36.99. Thanks for the Heads Up. I still am somewhat intimidated by technology--especially computerized stuff. I can tune and rebuild bicycles in my sleep, pack my own chute, and even work on my own MC--which is why I deliberately chose one with carbs, but a lot of that computer stuff confuses me. Both of my kids live in CA--daughter in San Jose, and son in San Diego. Both are professional computer people. When they talk, they could just as well be speaking Chineese. Obviously I`ll never get to that level--but I would sure like to be able to do some of that neat stuff on a computer like you and Alex, and Kelly do. I should probably get a new computer. I upgraded this one from Win-95 to Win-98SE. Son tells me it is like a Model-T without the classic bling.

Alex, Your yellow Kawi is beautiful! My favorite colour. I am considering taking off all the green bodywork and taking it to a custom shop for a yellow Imron paint job. I think it would look stunning.

Thanks Alex! IMO the color comes across much better in person than in photos; there is a metal flake in it that really sparkles in the sunlight. In pics it looks much flatter. Here's a close-up that shows a little of it:

They only made that color on the ZX-10R's for one year (2006), so I don't see many others like it on the road; always a plus.

Alex, I would suspect that the paint Kawasaki used is Imron--more likely Awlgrip (purchased by Japan), since the bodywork is GRP. I will make some inquiries to Kawasaki and see if they will sell me a couple of quarts. If it is the kind of paint I think it is, it would be a two part linear epoxy--used very sucessfully on boats and custom Corvettes (mine was silver Imron with just a hint of metalflake).
