Made a small change to the site today, to disallow sites other than here to hotlink our images. It should have zero effect on this site itself, but please let me know if you see anything that doesn't seem like it's working correctly. What this prevents is for people on other sites to use our own bandwidth to post pictures, re-use smilies local to here, etc. Some sites replace the image with something vile, but mine was at least tongue in cheek:

Another minor switch that I hadn't realized wasn't working until tonight. "ninjette.org" always has always been pushed to "www.ninjette.org". But if the incoming url was something like "ninjette.org/forums", it wouldn't add the www in front as I had expected. That has been corrected, so you should always see the www in front of the address. Like above, let me know if this causes any unexpected issues.

It's not my bandwidth. That pic is pulled directly off of smugmug, which allows unlimited bandwidth. :thumbup:

I think I've got some technical posts here that hotlink images that I uploaded over at ninja250.org, as well as posts there that referenced pics over here. What will it take to find and delete those posts here?

There's no need to edit the posts here; hotlinking images from sites that allow it continues to work just fine. It's the limiting of other sites hotlinking images from here that was restricted. If you do have posts on other forums that directly link pictures that are hosted only here, those are the ones that would having missing pics now over there.

Right. But if I have any posts here that hotlink pics from the other site I want to delete them here. They have limited pic hosting capability but don't restrict hotlinking They don't allow deleting posts or pictures after 12 hours or so, so I can't do it from that end.

Search for your posts here that include "img" in them, perhaps "img" and the other site's name?
