hmmm.... I went to see a silly cheap busa for sale. Owner said "it's a death machine". lol I passed on it but still.... I have no need to go this fast in such a short distance and they turn like a tank. I would have bought it if I was into the drag strip more.

I felt that way for a long time. After seeing them in action I have changed my feelings toward them. They are first the fastest motorcycle ever. But people commute tour and put side cars on them. I dont want one. I like small bikes. But they have earned my respect.

Talk about respect and acceleration. Watch my good friend Dean go from 0 to 245 mph in one mile. This is on a bumpy abandon runway two years ago.

That's incredible! Poor bike though... as much as it tries and as fast as it gets it doesn't fly like the others that use that road do :p

I owned a Busa 30,000 miles in 4 years . Really 3 yrs Was off riding 1 year due to car accident. They are a fun bike and I took short trips on mine . But most of all I loved the HP and acceleration . I didn't love rear tire every couple 1000 miles and the hi insurance rates Between tires and insurance I bought the bike a 2nd time. Not counting the mods exhaust ect.
I was 62 when I bought the bike experience rider and was still ate up by insurance . Today I ride a Yamaha Raider 1900 cc v twin Its quick , but not a Busa . I have full coverage and less 30 bucks a mo. Busa was over 100 just liability . When I want to play in the twisties I roll out the 250 Ninja. Lot more fun to toss around in the corners.
