I forced him to ride it for a few miles today, and I think convinced him (or he convinced himself), that yup, the 250 is more fun than it has any right to be.

Glad some folks could make it out; it was one of the nicer SMR's in recent memory, with 11 bikes making their way from the deli out to Occidental. Hope the weather stays similar to we can repeat this in 7 days (and 14, and 21, etc).
