It looks like we can add Josh Hayes’ name to the repeat-winner list, as he is currently in the midst of creating a dynasty of his own in the AMA Pro Racing SuperBike Championship. Armed with his Graves Motorsports Yamaha YZF-R1, Hayes completed a three-peat in 2012, winning 16 races along the way to claiming his third consecutive SuperBike title. Hayes has single-handedly stopped the Yoshimura Suzuki freight train that won 10 AMA Superbike championships between 1999 and 2009 (not consecutive because some kid named Nicky Hayden, riding for Honda, spoiled the party in 2002), establishing a new pecking order in the AMA Pro Racing paddock.
