My local tint shop wrapped my windshield in Llumar smoke film (used on head/tail lights). Have a look

I like it looks better than completely blacking out the windscreen.

All my friends are actually using spray paint on their windscreens, I don't think I'll go that route.

Just have a tint shop do it, something the size of a windshield shouldn't cost more than $20-30.

My friend owns the shop so total cost was $0 :D

I'm not sure, I went with the the 2nd lightest they carry. I think it's 35%

I love the amber LED corner lights. They look awesome.

They'd look even better with some projectors for those HID's. You'd actually be able to see them when the headlights were on. :)

Those led corner lights are pretty sweet... Wish I could find an afford some lightweight gold colored rims

I wonder if the corner lights can be made to work as turn signals? Or would they not be bright enough? Also HID's but no projectors? :squid:

I believe the wheels have been painted, they are the stock rims...

The projectors will be a winter project... I don't want to tear apart brand new headlights just yet :o

Yea they would be tight working with the turn signals as well

Pretty sure he said powder coated somewhere in the thread, which I have looked at, def wouldn't mind a bit lighter rim though

All very tastefully done mods!

Interesting tinting the stock windscreen
I had always wondered if anyone did this rather than buy a new one.
I had assumed it did not stick well or something as I never saw any done.

Really like the black ala 636 heat shields too.

Congrats

OK, I'm going to have to find a place that will do that to a custom headlight. :) It should help hide the crack along with some bright green headlight mesh and a REALLY BRIGHT bulb to make up for the blockages.

Thanks for the info!
