Alex March 4th, 2013, 11:17 AM Looks clean!
S1att3r March 4th, 2013, 11:39 AM I like it looks better than completely blacking out the windscreen.
alex.s March 4th, 2013, 11:43 AM did you use real mesquite brickettes? if not it probably tastes like ****.
alex.s March 4th, 2013, 11:44 AM sorry... i've been barbecuing a lot lately...
EternalNewb March 4th, 2013, 11:47 AM As Alex, said, it looks clean. Nice.

Yep, stayed away from plastidip ;)
S1att3r March 4th, 2013, 11:55 AM Yep, stayed away from plastidip ;)
All my friends are actually using spray paint on their windscreens, I don't think I'll go that route.
Rekognize March 4th, 2013, 11:57 AM Just have a tint shop do it, something the size of a windshield shouldn't cost more than $20-30.
My friend owns the shop so total cost was $0 :D
alex.s March 4th, 2013, 12:00 PM they make spray on tint. spray it on the inside, it looks fine.
Slick_Stevo March 4th, 2013, 12:01 PM nice...I checked out your blog too...classy:thumbup:

I doubt it....my bike is apart waiting for clip-ons from BSR.... and its a little cool at night by the time I get home from work..but the weather is definitely breaking (fingerscrossed) hope she holds
NinjetteNewfie March 5th, 2013, 06:25 AM Windscreen looks good! Those rims look amazing!!
S1att3r March 5th, 2013, 08:08 AM What % did you go with on the windscreen?
Rekognize March 5th, 2013, 09:15 AM I'm not sure, I went with the the 2nd lightest they carry. I think it's 35%
JohnnyBravo March 24th, 2013, 07:00 PM Looks tight! Love the gold rims and carbon fiber
drbyatch April 4th, 2013, 02:30 AM extra weight though :( ;)

I love the amber LED corner lights. They look awesome.

They'd look even better with some projectors for those HID's. You'd actually be able to see them when the headlights were on. :)
JohnnyBravo April 4th, 2013, 10:38 AM Those led corner lights are pretty sweet... Wish I could find an afford some lightweight gold colored rims
psych0hans April 4th, 2013, 10:49 AM I wonder if the corner lights can be made to work as turn signals? Or would they not be bright enough? Also HID's but no projectors? :squid:

I believe the wheels have been painted, they are the stock rims...
Rekognize April 4th, 2013, 11:06 AM The projectors will be a winter project... I don't want to tear apart brand new headlights just yet :o
JohnnyBravo April 4th, 2013, 11:45 AM Yea they would be tight working with the turn signals as well

Pretty sure he said powder coated somewhere in the thread, which I have looked at, def wouldn't mind a bit lighter rim though

Bueno! Just be sure to post picture so I can drool. :D
I love my projector retrofit.
mania April 14th, 2013, 06:48 AM All very tastefully done mods!
Interesting tinting the stock windscreen
I had always wondered if anyone did this rather than buy a new one.
I had assumed it did not stick well or something as I never saw any done.
Really like the black ala 636 heat shields too.
Congrats
CZroe April 18th, 2013, 05:42 PM OK, I'm going to have to find a place that will do that to a custom headlight. :) It should help hide the crack along with some bright green headlight mesh and a REALLY BRIGHT bulb to make up for the blockages.
Thanks for the info!
