Well, ITS A GIRL!!! :baby: I have not named her yet but will soon come up with a proper name for her. She joins her little sister "Jinna" (my 2007 PreGen 250) and her bigOsister "TraShell" (my 2002 Hayabusa). For weeks and possibly two months, I have been sitting on this bike contemplating and deciding and pondering and wishing and struggling. :o I had not pulled the trigger because I just bought a house in January and could not justify purchasing a brand new motorcycle (especially having two perfectly good running bikes in my garage). Some encouragement and prodding and support from the most awesomest super duperest greatest girl in the world and I am now the owner of a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300!

I bought her Wednesday 3-06-2013...brought her home on Thursday...called in sick :sick: on Friday and went on a 250 mile trek thru some north georgia mountains...and after todays ride with the North GA Riders, I already have over 500 miles on her. Time for her first visit to the Dr for her check up. :D

I have posted and asked questions for weeks since test driving a motorcycle is basically impossible and I want to thank all who replied with helpful and insightful responses. It truly made purchasing the bike a bit easier BUT I will admit, I was IN LOVE after my ride on Friday thru the north Georgia mountains. For MY kind of riding and for what I was looking for; the power, the weight, and the looks are PUUUURFECT!!! :thumbup:

I wanted to get an SE model, but my dealership said they are harder to come by. They didn't think they'd be able to order one till much later this year.

Also I noticed that your SE model does not have ABS. Interesting that you have the paint job, but not the ABS.

I thought that all the SE 300s sent to the US were supposed to be ABS also, thus the price of getting the paint job meant also spending more on the ABS. So $200 for paint scheme and another $500 for ABS.

Nope. All ABS models are SE, but not all SE are w/ ABS.

Thats cool. I wish I could have gotten an SE in general - with ABS or without. Love the color scheme. I don't mind black, but green would have been even cooler and rarer to see on the streets.

Every one knows that white is way faster then green.
