View Full Version : Hello from California
Lurkable February 25th, 2009, 01:27 AM Hi, my name's Andrew. This 09 is the first bike I've owned. I sold my car to buy the bike new and so far have no regrets. Well that was only three months ago but what can I say...I am absolutely IN LOVE with this bike. I've put 7000 miles on it since then. The bike really amazes me every day and I'm starting to think she may never have a second owner.

athimmel February 25th, 2009, 09:16 AM Hi Andrew! Looks like you did what I did. My car went belly up and I bought a blue 09 Ninja. And I'm also in Northern California. How strange is that?
Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Lurkable February 25th, 2009, 07:59 PM welcome andrew, and jw, where did you get that blue thunder seat cowl? ive been looking far and wide for one of those.
Thanks Howard. I just had my dealership order the cowl for me. It looks nice - the only downside is that it didn't come complete with the velcro, contact cement, and written apology that would have been required to make the piece a real winner in my heart. As it was, I managed to obtain the velcro and contact cement which have been good enough to at least keep it attached to the back of my bike. ;)

Why do you have to do that to keep it on the bike? Is there something wrong with the clips?

The tape is 3/8" thick. I got it from Tapeworks - Bermuda Blue (reflective) part #6143.
