I'm no fan of the bail out, but GM makes some great cars (and sell more cars than anyone in the world not named "Toyota," so they're not making "products people don't want to buy").

About the GM thing, they do make a few good cars, but they come far and wide if you ask me. There's the Corvette, the Cobalt SS is a good platform (though typical awful interior), the better Pontiacs, and the new Saturns (which are just rebadged Opels, probably why they're good cars). But if I had a choice, I'd still go with a foreign car. Maybe if they started importing the European Focus...
Anyway, I don't mean to turn this into an argument about personal preference for cars, just thought I'd throw my two cents in there....now back to the topic :rotflmao:
