What is the rear suspension spring rate? I don't know how to measure it.

I calculated the pre-gen once, but cannot find it now.

You can measure the deformation if pulling the shock absorber out and load it.

Pregen is listed as 440 inch/pounds on the ninja 250 faq. Unfortunately I am looking for the 300's spring rate.

new gen is listed as 9.3 kg/mm on racetech's site. I think that is around 520 inch pounds. I have read that the spring rate on the 300 is the same rate but a longer spring, allowing for more preload. Can anyone confirm?
