View Full Version : Highly modified 300 with steering stabilizer - video
c-dog August 13th, 2013, 10:51 PM EDIT: It's diwhiteii's.
Not my bike, but it's really impressive.
The technical stuff is very nice. Ohlins shock, adjustable valves on forks, as well as some other cool stuff. The most interesting to me was seeing the Scotts(?) steering stabilizer that was mounted up. Unlike another video, this one actually is connected properly and is working.
This guy went all out on this as far as mods go. I would like it better if it was more subtle, and darker. But that's just my opinion and taste (I would have gone with black stuff instead of chrome). I wanted to share this video after I found it to give people some ideas.
If this guy is on the forum - nice job

Damn, the blue looks nice! I would love to do something like this, but as a beginner bike I may not have it long enough to enjoy all the benefits plus the cost! Where did you have the seat done at? Is that something that can be ordered? I would like a more comfortable seat as I have some long trips planned in the coming months before it gets too cold.
fishdip August 14th, 2013, 09:17 AM Nice work are you going to get the aluminum brake fluid holders?

Seat cover was from custom seat creations. Added saddleman seat gel and took it to a local upholstery shop to install. Total cost for labor was $250 plus 50 for the cover and 50 for the gel.
